Reservations, GDS Strategy, Airport Systems, Revenue Integrity and Related

Over a twelve month period, R.W. Mann & Company assisted South African Airways, Atraxis and PROS to accelerate and successfully implement Atraxis' AxsRes airline reservations system, AxsControl airport/departure control system, AxsExpert robotic reservations quality control and process automation system, and PROS' G4/P4 revenue management systems tailored to AxsRes. For SAA's CIO, we developed contingency and fall-back strategies, in the event of foreseeable migration and cutover issues.
Concurrently, we assisted SAA by designing and implementing productivity and quality improvements in reservations, airport and marketing systems support areas, while consolidating work performed in isolated, un-networked work groups and out-sourcing some reservations support activities to a day-part and timing-advantageous host.
We reviewed efforts undertaken to move to market the SAA.com and SAABiz.com electronic distribution and leisure web strategies.
R.W. Mann & Company outlined for SAA an integrated, pan-airline approach to Revenue Integrity processes, which is pending implementation.
Based on our work for SAA, we have been asked to participate in South African provincial and municipal market development strategies.
